Hi Thanks for that, Strangely I had that very drill bit in my shopping basket, I have now ordered it.

Thanks again

I’ve been using these for the past few years for cribbage boards. no complaints, when I finally work through the 10 I bought, I’ll likely buy the same ones again.

Give us a review after you get to use it, please

That’s a great price, for sure

I have had good results on my crib boards using a SpeTool 1/8 downcut end mill. You can find them on Amazon for reasonable cost.

Hi I will do, Thanks for help.

I have used quite q few Spe tool cutters, They are very good. I will get a new one and give it a go, what speed and feeds do you use please.

Paul

Thanks

I have been using those PCB drill bits for my cribbage boards for at least 5 or 6 years, and I love them. They are inexpensive, cut clean holes and last a long time. I will get ~8-10 4 player boards out of them, which is ~553 holes, since I have a counter for keeping track of up to 10 wins.

Here is a pic of a board cut with one of those drill bits. I had just soaked it in mineral oil, so it is still very wet in this pic. And this is a bamboo board, which tends to tear out more than other materials - except black palm. That stuff is just no fun at all with small bits.

Paul, I use the speeds and feeds for the McFly that is in the C3D tool database.
SpeTool also has speeds and feeds charts on their website

Hmmmm… not sure why I made reference to the McFly in my post…
