Duplicating Toolpaths

Request:
When duplicating a toolpath, the duplicate should be added immediately under the selected toolpath (the one you are duplicating)

Currently, if you have multiple toolpath groups and you duplicate a path in the top group, the duplicate is placed at the bottom of the bottom group. So - we have to find it and then drag it up to where we want it. For me, I duplicate a toolpath when I want to do rest machining. Example:

Group 1:

  • pocket 1/4

Group 2: (DISABLED)

  • cutout

Now - I would duplicate pocket 1/4, rename it to pocket 1/8, adjust the settings so that I have this:

Group 1:

  • pocket 1/4
  • pocket 1/8

Group 2: (DISABLED)

  • cutout

However, currently, the duplicate is added to the bottom of the disabled Group 2. So, I have to locate it, drag it up to be under pocket 1/4, and enable it.

Sooooo - request:
When duplicating a toolpath, the duplicate should be added immediately under the selected toolpath (the one you are duplicating)

I like to point out there’s basically the same problem when creating a new toolpath. CC could be way smarter about where new toolpaths go.

For example, if only one toolpath group is enabled, place it there.
If only one toolpath group is expanded, place it there.
