I know this has been discussed before in the context of the VFD, but is there any out put on the main controller that goes high or low 12VDC when the spindle is supposed to be on? I have a power strip device that can take a 12VDC on/off state to control a relay to a 110VAC plug.
I am not sure about that but I bought this based on recommendations here on the forum and it works great.

I do not have the VFD, so not sure if that would present a complication.
We have an article on this:

I put together a power control box for my setup. Used a current sensing switch to auto-start-shutoff my vac.

Well crap. I have a couple of these but didn’t think to try it on the VFD because it’s always ‘on’ even when not spinning. I’ll definitely give this a try.
FWIW this is the other controller I have that I got when I bought a different tool.
