When importing a DXF file (AutoCAD dxf version 10) into Carbide Create it places the file image to the left hand side of the of the stock outline. I can select the image of the file and move it over the stock outline, but it takes a bit of messing to get it properly located. Any solutions?
The placement should match origins — draw the file so that the origin is at the lower left corner to match Carbide Create?
Can’t you select the whole image, group it then then use the align to the stock?
Now that you mention it the Draftsight drawing origin was on the bottom right hand side. I never thought much about it, now I will. That lower right origin position matches its placement in CC. Thanks for the solution.
