Just in the process of getting my Pro 5 setup, but i do have one use-case i was hoping to get some clarification on how best to accomplish. I’d like to make a few cabinets for a bathroom i’m redoing. I plan to use Mozaik for the cabinet design, which can output the DXF files (i don’t believe they support the Carbide3d CNC’s). These would be cutting out of a 4x8 sheets of plywood. So i just need to translate those into the proper toolpaths in Carbide Create.
I’ve watched a few things on tiling and it sounds like creating a locator pin is recommended. If you have a straight edge guide isn’t that sufficient though as well? (assuming you measure the overlap and put the sheet in the right Y space.
Appreciate any help and if anyone has any experience cutting out cabinets!
In that case, the DXFs should import into Carbide Create Pro to do toolpaths w/ tiling there — you can work up whatever location mechanism suits your stock/projects — there are some pretty cool ideas in various videos and discussions here.
