I have recently started playing around with the cabinet features in easel. I was curious though, if anyone has used the 5 pro in easel. I want it to export the gcode, but it doesn’t have the latest machine. I believe it had the pro, 3xxl and 4xxl. What would I need to change in the gcode to make it work with the 5 pro? Is it just bed size? Thanks in advance!
Gcode does not care what size machine you have. Use a text tool to read gcode to see if there are commands to turn on spindle and set speed and set tool numbers. Gcode can tell machine to go half mile and machine will try until it hits mechanical stops. CM limits jogging from configuration but does not prevent movement when executing gcode.
Talk to cs at easel to see if they have updated post processor.
My beef with easel is it is cloud based and requires Internet to function.
