Edges Blowing out on V Carve

Hello,

I’m trying to make a sign using the advanced VCarve in Carbide create. I’ve run the program a few times and keep running into the same problems. In the text I have in the sign the 60 degree VCarve bit keeps blowing out the tops of all the letters. This has only been happing on the top for some reason. I have tried on both pine and red oak and had the same issues. It’s like it’s not rounding at the top and cutting straight across.

It’s running at .058" depth per pass and with a feed rate of 35 and IPM with about 23000 rpm.

I have included some pictures in the google drive.

Am I maybe running too many RPM or the feed rate is too quick? Any help would be much appreciated.

I would run 50 IPM with 18000 rpm and 0.1" depth
