I have a SainSmart 3018 PRO. I have added various End Mill and Vee bits to my specific Library. One that I’m having issues with is a 10 degree Vee. When I select it as a tool in my project and look at the Simulation, the bit wants to go down 6 steps. Each step of going down is 0.5 mm. I only want it to go down 0.5 mm, and that is what I have applied in the tool’s data.
Would anybody know what I might be doing incorrectly?

To limit how deeply a V endmill will cut use the Advanced V Carving option in Carbide Create.
