Ellipses, can't do that simple thing now

You can draw an oval or an ellipse using the Bézier curve tool:

Thanks. But still a feature request to rescale X and Y separately.
I finally ended up drawing the ellipse in Sketchup, making a jpeg of it, hand tracing in Carbide Create, and then scale to size.
