drawing a line when done it turns purplish and when select it highlights as normal but after setting tool choice and path it displays an empty toll path. It also says that there is no closed vectors selected.
What kind of tool path? Contour will work on open vectors. Pocket & V-Carve need closed vectors.

Am new at this game and am in the learning process. I do wonder if I will ever learn enough to do nsome real awesome stuff in 3D. Time will tell.
Open vectors are indicated by being magenta (when on the default layer), and may only be used w/ Contour toopaths.
They may be joined by using the “Join Vectors” command.
