Epoxy resin sander

I am looking for a tried a tested Epoxy resin electric sander for a 8" piece (not one of those small ones used for charms)

I think the kind of sander does not really matter as long as it is a vibration sander. What matters is the sand paper. I use up to 2500 with some (not too little, but not under water) drops of water, then polish with tooth paste. Gives a nice shine (and smells good ). How to hold such a small piece is also not unimportant. If not too thin bench dogs may work, or tape.

Sometimes I am too impatient to polish and use clear thick finishing spray. Works ok too.

I also plan -did not do yet- to use Epoxy coating.

Thanks, i read somewhere that the rpm is important, i would love to know if anyone is using an electric sander for epoxy resin and is working well

I do a finishing pass with a 1/4" endmill to remove the epoxy above the material surface then use a Makita 5" orbital sander and it works fine.
