I have been using Version 778 on Carbide Create Pro and have recently came across an error code that always pops up no matter what I am creating. I can form a square and it will be fine. The moment I go over and change the dimensions of the square to the size that I want I will get an error code that says, " ‘Radius’ must be between 0.001 and 1000.000 in." Then I click OK and the message pops up many times with me having to click OK until it finally goes away. Then I can finally continue to create my design. Anything that I create that has a radius option for the design the program will pop up this error message several times before I can continue.
It has become quite annoying when almost every change I make has this error come up and do it many times over. I am not sure what is happening and why, but if anybody has any suggestions as to how to fix it, please help. Thank you.
To add, the parameters that come up are Width, Height, Radius, and Corners. Width, Height, and Corner are darker meaning they are available to change, but the Radius area is dimmed out with the reading 0.0000 and I don’t change anything other then the Width or the Height. Whichever one I change and hit ENTER, the error message comes up. I do not change the Corner parameter. I leave it alone and yet the error still comes up.
Draw a square and change the corners to Fillet. Then change the Radius to a number allowed (eg 1.00 inch). Then exit CC. It should retain the Radius setting of 1.00 inch and prevent the pop up. Cheers.
No, you can freely change the corner back to square ( or anything else). The software just wants a valid entry for radius even though a radius is not needed and remains dimmed out.
