Expansion Packs Shapeoko 4?

Are there any plans to sell expansion packs for the 4 (like the 3 has)? I want to order a 4 soon, but I can’t make up my mind on the size. I would love to order the standard machine if I knew I could expand later.

My understanding is that too much of the structure has to be replaced for expansion packs to be available at an affordable price.

Can I upgrade from a Shapeoko 4 to a larger Shapeoko 4? Probably not. An upgrade would require almost the entire machine to be replaced except for the Z axis and electronics so it’s not really a cost-effective way to go.

I see your point. The combo spoilboard alone makes a big difference when it comes to cost of upgrade.
