Export gcode from current CC (v8)?

I’ve been using Fusion 360 as CAM for my projects since I first got a 3018 a few years ago and running it on cncjs on a connected Raspberry Pi since I started. It’s been working for me until I tried doing inlay work.

Christmas is coming and I am making yet another cutting board for my sister. I loaded the information into CC v8.xx, whatever the newest version is, and I want to know if the export tool will work for me or if it makes sense to bring a Windows machine to the basement. I have not use carbide motion since the initial setup of my shapeoko.

I will run a test on some scraps beforehand.

What do you advise?

By the way, my sister needs a medium sized board because the last ones have been too large for her counter :slight_smile: Going for 9x12"

G-code export is a Pro feature, see:

If you have a Carbide 3D machine, then it is possible to connect to it using Carbide Motion, then write out the G-code as noted at:

Thank you. I’ll bring my laptop down there with carbide motion on it and try it out.
