When I import a DXF file in Carbide Create, it comes in very faceted. The DXF exported from Solidworks has circles, arcs, and lines. I imported the file back into Solidworks and Creo. Both looked exactly as expected. When I import a DXF file in Carbide Create, it comes in very faceted. The facets come through in the routed parts. What can be done to resolve this? Thanks!
Usually I am able to fix such files by opening them in LibreCAD, then exporting as a MakerCAM SVG — please send it in to us at support@carbide3d.com and we’ll try to add this to our testing suite and see if we can improve how it imports.
