Finish Pass on 3d clock help

Hello all,

Thank everyone for the previous help on my inner circle issue. I have since posting that issue have figured it out.
Moving on to my next question:

after running all toolpaths and all tooling is complete and looking at the finished product… How would I do a finish pass just to clean up the text ?

Select the text and offset by tool diameter (or radius?) plus 10%:

apply a 3D finishing toolpath with a suitably small tool:

So, Using a 1/32" end mill I was able to clean it up some. However, when viewing the project prior to cutting the project looks choppy, I wonder if this is because its pixelated because of the monitor.
Would you think it would come out smooth or nearly smooth…

Rough Pass 1/4" downcut
Finish Pass 1/32" Ball

I would suggest multiple 3D Finishing passes at various angles and with increasingly higher stepover until you arrive at a preview which suits which isn’t overly long for time.

In CC, did you set the View → High Resolution Simulation to be checked ?
