First time using 3D carve and I came up with this 11" mdf test piece that I put a torch to after it finished definitely need some practice but I got a successful carve on my 3rd attempt! ( 2 practice runs)
Love images of Koi. Reminds me of all the fish I have sacrificed to the Heron (*&%$#@)

Snagged the grayscale image from Google used the import image option and started guessing… I get distracted by videos and having my phone so I started with a flat image and kept changing things and going back till I figured out what each setting was doing or not doing (I think) mostly lol I think I need some more bit variety and more knowledge on entering bits into the library… also wasnt sure about a torch on mdf never thought to try burning cardboard with a torch but it did okay as long as I didn’t go to slow learned a few things from this and I’m currently waiting for the chips to fly on the next one hopefully done when I finish typing this super long, scattered nonsense of my brain response thanks for looking and sorry if you made it this far
