They’re a great feature
Having tabs is a really nice feature — best of all, it’s a good justification for laying in a complete set of gouges/chisels in various radii — wish that X-Acto had such.
I’m sure that it will be completely coincidental that I’m going to manage to place tabs along curves of such radius that I put together a complete set

over the course of the coming year.
Good lordie!–one could end up with an entire tool chest full of gouges! I had no idea there were so many.
How do you achieve that scale pattern? Stamped metal foil?
A couple of years ago, I thought I’d try doing some lures over the winter. Especially ones that are no longer made that I still happen to have in my tackle box (Flatfish/LazyIke, Bassarino). I wasn’t really happy with the way they turned out. I didn’t have the CNC then; I don’t know if it might have made a difference. I’d like it if you’d document the process from start to finish, though.
