Hi all! I have been reading this Forum for quite a long time, but I’ve never built up the nerve to post. So, today is a new day! I have truly loved learning this art from all of you on this forum!! Thank you!!

I did have a project that I sent to support, and was told that I should learn to walk before I run! I absolutely agree. So, baby steps…

This is one of my early learning projects… I have a lot to learn, but I am excited to connect. Are there any users close to me? Midwest Ohio?

Are those Morel Mushrooms? IMO, I would tighten the images and text meaning shrink them so they’re not crowding the border. If you take Millie’s Bistro and have the text follow the edge of the piece, like an arc, it opens up space for the mushroom image. Just my preference but you may like the changes so it wouldn’t hurt to experiment on screen. I’ve worked a lot in Ohio but live in Southern Indiana. Good luck!

Maybe even put Millie’s on the arc at the top and Bistro on the arc at the bottom so the mushrooms are centered.

How is that 2-toned? Inlay? If so, that’s a pretty impressive first job.

I’m about 4 hrs north on Lake St. Clair. (Lived in Centerville, OH '92-'97)
