i finally figured that out. so it started the job…and then forgot to turn on the router. i got everything stopped but clearly caused some out of alignment. i tried to start from the beginning with the wizard initialization…but now it will not home and will not complete the initialization. what a mess!!

There is a list of Grbl errors at:

https://my.carbide3d.com/faq/error-codes/

and a troubleshooting guide at:

If you still have difficulty, let us know at support@carbide3d.com

Sounds like you are on the correct track.
Try something, mess it up, try again, mess it up, ask for help… eventually you will get the order of operations down.

Make a list in the order of operations and post it near your machine.
Another good tip is to learn on CHEAP wood…

Step 1. Turn on the Machine.
Step 2. Secure your stock
Step 3. Set your Zereo’s
etc.

It took me a long time to stop messing things up.
When I first started, I messed up 50% of my jobs. Now I only mess up 1 in 20.

That’s above my pay grade.

A big shout out to Flemming. from support…we are fixed (for now) and was able to do another test project. The learning continues.
