What is it with you guys making superb first projects ?
Can’t you make a round coaster like everyone else? :laughing:
I need to try stone inlay sometime, it looks great ! How did you sand it?

Thanks lol. I used 40 grit in my drill went up to 2000 with some oil. Still need to perfect that but I’m happy with it.

eh some of us make cubes with 6 sides of logos, not coasters :slight_smile:
and also boxes from @45rpm’s videos

but clearly nothing like this post

I used quartz stone powder and hardened it with CA glue then sanded it

ahahah i know right my first project on my SO3 was to insert the sharpie pen right through the wasteboard, these so called newbies are giving me a real kick up my bum to post something that us alledged experts now can do :slight_smile:

Thank you. But getting there had some issues like plunging my bit through my first board because my Z was off :laughing:
