Success with my 2 sided cut. So, it was the stock that was not exactly parallel. I fixed that. There is a very slight deviation I think making the l bracket a bit longer and also make absolutely sure the stock is straight will work. Thanks for the pointer. Its always the small but important omissions that trip you up in wood working…
