Hi all! I am putting the “Classic+” up for sale in the Dallas area.
I have had the machine since new in 2015. I updated the axis drive belts from 6 to 9mm, replaced the spindle with an ER11 mini-nut variety, replaced all moving wires with good ultra-flex wires, shielded the spindle wires, added IGUS drag chains on the X and Z axes. Installed a spindle LED ring (always on) and an auxiliary LED lamp (switched). I made an aluminum backsplash. The machine is running GRBL 1.1h. Includes 1/8", 3/16" and 1/4" collets, each with its own nut. I made and printed modified collet fans to fit the mini nuts. It has a bed-of-threads table, and a freshly-faced MDF wasteboard on top of that. It has a remote-mounded Estop switch in a printed enclosure (done after the below photo but I’m not in a position to take new photos)
