Fusion 360 model using Carbide Motion

I would like to use Fusion 360 to creat my models
And run in Carbide Motion.

What are the steps, file types etc.?

Also note that the UI has changed a little bit since then. The steps are generally the same, but the locations of some buttons/features have moved.

And no, if Fusion asks, you do not need a “machine model” to export gcode.

As long as you choose the “Shapeoko” or “Carbide 3D” post processor (I can’t remember which term it uses as I’m 1,600 miles away from my computers at the moment), you’re good to go.
