Ok Tim, I sent you the instruction.
Hi,
Would this be of any use or even compatible with the Nomad?
Jerry
Since I had it written for the GRBL controller board, and we use the same board, I think it would be compatible.
Instructional email has been sent.
Have fun

Rich, Could you please send me the instructions and the post processor? I have been using Fusion for a few months now. Have you done any engraving with a 1/32" end mill? the engraved image does not resemble my logo I am trying to engrave, I am guessing its because I had to restart the program twice because of a communication error. Since then I have change the USB cable to have change the cable to one with ferrite chokes on both ends. I am trying to understand the repeat-ability of the shapeoko 3. Have you done any sort of production runs with your shapeoko? if its not precise enough I will need to switch to my Nomad
Hi Robert!
Lots of questions! I like it.
I have engraved with a 1/32 end mill but much prefer to use a single flute =
90 Deg engraving cutter (or a 60 DEG) but it is a lot weaker than a 90 DEG)
Let me ask you a question. Do you know what version your electronics board=
(GRBL) is? 2.2, 2.4, etc?
I have done several production runs (private customer and my Etsy Shop)and =
I am very pleased at the precision (Check out my Clamps: https://www.etsy.=

I will send you a separate email for installing my Post.
Feel free to ask any question that you might have,
Please send me an email so I can send you the info on installing my Post

Autodesk just updated their post a couple days ago too.
@RichCournoyer Iāve been using Fusion 360 for quite a while now, and there is a built-in carbide 3D post processor in there. So far it has been running perfectly for me, but my work was mostly 2D, I havenāt processed anything 2.5D yet.
Are you refering to that post processor, or about another one.
Let me know.
Jeff
Another one. The stock Carbide3D Post is good, but fails to raise (Lift) your Z axis before moving to the location where cutting will begin (not safe in my opinion). That is the main difference between the posts.
