Fusion free personal use?

Is Fusion taking away free personal use of the software?

Where’d you hear that?

From their website, no they’re not. " A free Autodesk Fusion 30-day trial is available for commercial use. Subscriptions are free for qualifying non-commercial/hobby users, startups and teachers and students. Commercial subscribers receive access to a robust set of design and 3D modeling tools, electronics, simulation, and machining capabilities, along with the ability to access additional consumption-based services."

It will be a cold day before they do that. It’s a huge factor for their marketing as they convert professional subscriptions from free users.

This is an email I received.

yeah they are just trying to get you to upgrade essentially

Startup license is $150US per year, after 3 years it’s $680/yr. Just cloud software. Ouch.

Yeah they have been doing that for years. You have to dig but you can renew it.
