How can I see the g-code? I can’t open it in a text editor it just show gobledy-gook unlike the nice clean files I see other people posting.
It would be helpful if you told us what software Matt.
If you are using Carbide Create/Motion:
- Opens it in CM
- Then is able to view it, select it, copy it, and paste it into a text editor
((On the “Info” or “Run” pane, just click the file name and it’ll pop up the gcode in a viewer.__

Thanks, I couldn’t find the tiny “view g-code button”. I also wasn’t connected to the cutter.
