A game was recently posted to the Alibre forum, and it brought to mind:
which purports to teach drawing w/ Bézier curves — in some instances, to gamify things, wrong constructions are required — when actually drawing, remember:
- the “Rule of 30” (for smoothness an off-curve node should extend about 30% of the distance from the on-curve node using the total distance of the two on-curve nodes)
- nodes should be placed at extrema (top/bottom, left/right) and points of inflection (think the middle of an S curve)
