Gantry hole location specs

Needing just a bit of help for hole locations on the gantry. I did some measurements before I left out of town and now that I am where I was heading, I have the wrong measurements where the gantry bolts to the Y axis on both sides. The back location, or normal location of the gantry has the bolt locations. Then the forward location also has the bolt locations for moving the gantry forward.

There is the center step for locations between the regular location and the forward location. I have measured from the step to the first bolt hole at .625 inches. The second hole location is what I need. For some reason I have the second location at 1.225 inches from the first hole. I will not be at my machine for a month, and I am here making the steps to increase the gantry height up 2 inches. I have the aluminum already. I cut the material to a length ready to start machining, but I dont have the hole locations for the second hole. Help with the specs please.

Is this the measurements your looking for?

I added photo’s for clarity.

Thank you so much. I guess I did measure correctly on the hole spacing. I had the information written down but not in any order to make sure I had it correct. I was rushing to get out the door and on the road. Thanks again.

Can you take a measurement from the front step and the back step where the bolt holes are between?

I took a couple more pic’s, just so you can see where I’m measuring from and to make sure it’s the measurement you want.

Why do I feel so not prepared for the work I was doing on these spacer blocks? I didn’t even think about what bolt size was in the holes and now I have no clue as to what size to drill the thru holes.

Does anybody have the bolt size for these bolts that hold the gantry on? I drilled 1/4" holes thru the blocks, but after looking at the holes, they seem to be a bit too small. So, if someone could get me a measurement on the bolts to drill the proper thru holes, it would be much appreciated.

I wasn’t sure so I checked the assembly pdf of the 5 pro. (screenshot)

It’s an M6.

Thank you again for finding this. This does help. I’m realizing that an M6 bolt major is 6mm or .236, which means that my holes of 1/4 inch are not big enough. I will have to drill them out a little bigger tomorrow to make sure they will accept the M6 bolt major. Thanks so much.
