GBRL Alarm 8 during a job

After I installed the replacement PCB (10 month ago) I had absolutely no problem since last week and I used the Pro quite a bit. I have not changed anything in the setup of the PRO since the replacement except I installed the latest CM version but the last update is at least 2 month ago and I used the machine without any problem after it. Last week I saw all of a sudden in the middle of a rather short carve (1 hour in total) this behavior that I am reporting now.

The spindle stopped in the middle of a 3d carve and I see this strange message that I have not seen so far during a job. I see this kind of error once in a while when first initializing the Pro and then I run another homing sequence and everything is fine.

I have seen this error now may be 5 times and tried to reproduce it without a spindle and VFD connected but was not able to trigger it. But even in real jobs this error does not show up very often and often a 7 hour job is running without any problem.
Today was the first time I was able to see the error happening while I was watching the Pro carving, so far I was in the some room but busy with other things and only noticed when the Pro stopped working.
So what I saw was that out of the blue the cnc stopped carving and was moving the x axis without moving any other axis 2 cm to the front and stopped there and the spindle stopped as well and the strange GRBL Alarm msg was shown.
The Pro is then in a state that requires it to re initialze and then I can continue carving.

So I searched here but have not found any topic that may show the same issue.

Please let us know about this at support@carbide3d.com, and if possible, send in a video showing the entire process which leads to the error occuring.

Thanks, I already reported this error to Brandon and he asked me to performe an air cut without the spindle attached and running. I did two air cuts each one hour with no error but as I said this error does not show up so far often and I can run a 7 hour job without any problem. So I guess it is hard to make a video. What you see or what I saw was what I described. Spindle stopped, cnc stopped and showing these wierd msg. I have seen several disconnects in the past due to usb problems and mostly an error in the PCB but then you get a disconnect msg not a homing problem.
