What i would like to do is pocket all white which will allow all remaining to be red.
So, a red board, pocket and paint the pocket white
Opening the file we find:
Zooming in we get:

I think I would pocket the spokes separately from the circular wheel vectors, that is, two separate tool paths. just trim the spokes as needed.
Incredible thank you kindly!
When i select the design to pocket, it selects everything that would be red. Is there a feauture that would do the reverse and pocket all white.
I mean, it selects it all perfectly, i want to hit 'opposite ’
That problem is Figure-Ground Reversal:
Offset to the outside or remove the outermost perimeter from the toolpath.
Just to follow up on this…
I had read your tutorial and understand and appreciate that process.
Before i attempted that, i had one thought to try first.
I selected the second most outer perimeter line and then pressed shift and added everything else inside that line. It worked. As far as this project is concered, it worked.
Thanks again for helping with the wheel and appreciate all the tutorials and quick replies to help.
Makes things easier with all the help!
