Hello,
I’m a new Shapeoko user and amateur woodworker. I’ve got a used machine and tested the basic functions:
- Pocketed bigfoot in birch plywood, following the Weber sign tutorial. The white milk paint test was a mistake.
-
A pine sign puzzle for a friend (testing through-cuts, letters are removable) – he bought half the Shapeoko with me but then he had a son. He keeps the baby and I keep the machine.
-
V-carved engraving in walnut (a test piece for a bench I designed)
-
A relief cut from the file provided here. Putting it in end grain beetle-kill pine was a silly idea… the finish is great but the effect is ugly.
-
A bit holder - wood might be alder.
Looking forward to more!
