Gifts for Christmas?

A co-worker’s son expressed an interest in whittling, so I bought him a (sadly discontinued) Old Timer 24OT Splinter Carvin’ knife for whittling, as well as a book on the subject, as well as a first aid kit, accompanying the latter with:

n.b., I have not yet purchased a copy of my own, so no idea if it is rife w/ the sort of typos and amateur typesetting which spoiled Virtuoso: The Tool Cabinet and Workbench of Henry O. Studley for me:

Anyone else find anything esp. nifty to gift this year?

Skilcraft notably employs blind and visually disabled folks, and their stuff in my experience has always been wonderfully high quality/a good value. I had the above pen as a dupe because I’d broken off the clip on one I’ve had for years (much of the paint has worn off), but I finally thought to purchase a replacement clip…

Was a gift to myself a while ago. Use it every day in the shop. Retractable tip is incredibly useful.
