My anniversary was today, so I had to make something awesome for my batman loving girlfriend. It took 8hrs 21 minutes to laser engrave on the Shapeoko, and my first picture frame.

I’m obliged to remind laser users that the process releases toxics, carcinogens and teratogens… Minimally have a large turnover of air going when doing this. Ideally, an enclosure which flushes it air outside of the work area is appropriate.

Nicely done, where did you find the laser setup?
The laserink Kickstarter. It started out as a great project, but has had very little development recently. I wish the designs were open sourced.
