Kennedy, I had a similar issue with the used Shapeoko 4 XL I just purchased. I opened the control box and unplugged the homing switch for the axis I was having trouble with, and plugged it back in. Prior to doing that, the switch didn’t light up red when something metal touched it, but after un-plugging/re-plugging the homing switch at the controller, I was back in business.
