Interesting! I always wondered, how come GRBL does not have an “offline” mode where it would read gcode from a local SD card, like many 3D printers do ? Or does it ?
Anyway I’m looking forward to seeing the first hacked Shapeokos with a Super Gerbil controller

No, doesn’t, it simply can’t read an SD card - no IO left.
If a Super Gerbil controller doesn’t have a rodent in a cape on the case, I don’t want to l live on this planet anymore
