I get this error when homing grbl error: not idle

Which version of Carbide Motion are you using? If not a current one, please update:

and if need be, try the beta:

i get grbl versions prior to 1.1 are not supported with both versions

Oh, you have a machine w/ Grbl 0.9.

You’ll need to use CM366/368:

if you wish to update to 1.1 and use a more recent version, check in at support@carbide3d.com

I think my problem is i also use computer for a laser. It seems the cnc is trying to home like the laser. How do i send a grbl command to change the value to home. It’s $22 43 on the laser?

You’ll need homing switches, and a 64-bit computer running Windows or Mac OS X.
