Great support team

I bought my Shapeoko more than 6 years ago. When I was researching what machine to buy my experience with life, diy and woodworking told me that one of the most important things to look for was great support. I looked at this forum and others and decided this was my best bet. I recently had what I thought was a serious issue with my Bitrunner. After not seeing anything that addressed my issue here I contacted tech support. Those folks were great. They took the time to walk me through some things. I sent them photos and even a short video of the blinking lights on the control board. In the end it appeared that I needed a new Bitrunner. Of course the next day I found the error was on my part and I had accidently bumped my kill all emergency switch and then in all the different tests I never thought to check that.
My issue was solved and even though I found the self inflicted error myself I can’t tell you how reassuring it was to have support that responded to me with quick answers and not some AI driven support that didn’t do anything more than restate my issue. These guys asked probing questions and had me check voltages on pins to insure that everything was working as it should from the control board.

To anyone that is reading on this board to determine if a Shapeoko is the right machine all I can say is that between this forum and the outstanding Customer support this should be your choice.

Thanks again to the sales team that assisted me with my mistaken purchase of a new Bitrunner and the Tech Support team of Tyler Torres and Oscar Ramos and any others who pitched in, You guys are great.

You know you are getting top notch support when you get it 6 years later and well out of warranty. That to me is very impressive.

My feeling is exactly the same. Part of the reason I purchased mine is that I felt (feel) like the team truly cares about their product and the success of those who are using it. It’s almost like it’s their purpose in life to get as many people using a CNC as possible and as painlessly as possible.
