Grey screen with no grid using inches but not meters

Hello all,
I was looking through older threads but was unable to find what I was looking for: I am using the latest version of carbide create for my pro xxl machine on iMac and something odd has happened. I can’t get the grid to appear in the inches format, only in meters. I have gone into the job setup and messed around with different parameters in inches and meters to try and reset it but no luck. Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

It is at the bottom of JOB SETUP. where you define your material size, type, and centerpoint.

Probably your grid size has been defined as some very, very small unit:

click on “Set Grid”:

and change it to something reasonable.
