I use silhouette studio to create my designs and save them as an svg but when I import it it is blank. If I use a conversion site and save it as an svg it works fine. I can’t get why the svg straight from Silhouette won’t work.the extra step is a pain.
What settings / options do you have to choose from when saving?

If the SVG opens fine outside of Carbide Create… I had this issue creating text SVGs. My program wanted to save the text as Font Type: SVG; but the letters needed to be Converted to outline. Do simple objects like circles import correctly?
When I import it it is completely blank. No text or shapes.

Sending it in email now from mankin5344@yahoo.com thank you
To close the loop on this, certain SVG editors instantiate objects as clones — Carbide Create doesn’t support that SVG feature, so the files come in as empty.
One way to fix them is to open the SVG in Inkscape, save them as PDF, then reopen the PDF and resave as an SVG. Probably there’s a menu command for fixing this as well.
