HDM collet wrenches

Why are the HDM er20 collet wrenches so big?

Seems like it would be easy to over torque.

Here is a wrench specifically intended for ER-20 collets:

Please verify that it fits the nuts for your collets.

Usually for the flats folks use thin wrenches — maybe one in the set mentioned here would suit better?
