I’m using the Oneida Dust Cobra for my CNC. It’s a shopvac on steroids, designed for more continuous use, HEPA, Self cleaning filter, and does an amazing job. It is expensive (about 1000 USD), however, in my shop, it does double duty as the shopvac for my smaller tools (plate joiner, sander, handheld routers, etc.). I don’t know how it would do for large tools (my stand-alone tools are hard plumbed to an Oneida Industrial cyclone).

If you’re going to end up with more than one shop-vac in your shop, you might want to consider the cobra. I bought a secondary 30’ hose so I can leave it next to the CNC and just swap hoses to use it around the shop (see below). But it does have an on-wheels option.

Really like this setup. My actual shop vacuum (around the house duty) needed to be replaced so my Mikita will fit the bill. When I spit these Crayolas out I may look into something like this for sure.
