Help me diagnose this router sound

When it rains, it pours! I make a post, rework some designs, turn the machine back on to continue cutting, and I’m greeted with this sound. I changed out the brushes right before taking this short clip. It was making this same sounds before the new ones – but I don’t think the brushes were all that worn out to begin with.

Any ideas? I picked this up at Home Depot when my last one died after 6 months, but I’m not sure about the warranty on these.

The Makita has a one year warranty:

The most frequently replaced parts are the brushes (there should be a spare pair in your router box) and the bearings — some folks who have local Makita dealers have had good luck getting the latter replaced.
