I want to contour out the region between the center circle and the surrounding deformed circle (There are x2 of the same design). I’m using Carbide Create on a Macbook Pro. This is for a CNC router project.
Would appreciate any help you can offer!

Exporting that as an SVG then opens in Carbide Create as:
Since there is open/unjoined geometry we select it:
and use Join Vectors:

Interesting…so I saved the dxt file from Rhino (my version doesn’t allow svg files). When I open in CC, the center design is a closed circle (not open deformed square as in your pics)…
Maybe I’ll try to design in CC…
Did you try opening your dxf in v8?
V8? my CC is Build 757, Built on: 2023-03-17
and my Rhino is Rhino for mac v. 5.5.5
