Hello. Im replacing all my v-wheels on my Shapeoko 3 XXL and need a good video or how to when it comes to attaching the eccentric nuts. Does anyone have a good YouTube video or tutorial on this?
I cannot recommend a video but I can offer some advise. There is a small washer between the frame and the v-wheel. Be sure that washer is in place. It is quite hard to get the washer to stay in place while you insert the bolt and vwheel. I have used a round punch through frame and push it out with the bolt.
When you get the eccentrics in place to adjust them use a wrench on the nut of the eccentric and adjust the v wheel until just snug. Then hold the wrench in place while tightening the bolt. If you do not hold the nut in place the torque of the tightening will move the eccentric and your v wheel will be too tight.
