I’m attempting to make a single contour cut around the outside of the piece shown below. To do so, I need to combine the two parts into a single unit. I cannot work out how to do so and would appreciate any advice other users can give. The screenshots should explain what I’m attempting to do. Kind regards, Mervyn Mitchell, Tasmania

Delete the nodes on the end of the larger vector up to the end of the smaller vector.
Join the 2 vectors.
Or, select both vectors and offset them outward 0.0001"
