A friend of mine asked if I would take a stab at making a couple jewelry pieces for her, basically just a small disc charm with some text engraved along with a small hole for a chain. I understand the Pro version of CC has an engraving toolpath option but im using the free version. What would be my best way of going about doing this? I have a couple of pcb engravers I bought with my pro xl I thought might yield some nice results, i’m just not sure of what type of tool path I should be running. I was messing around in CC and using a pcb engraver with a vcarve tool path and it looked really good in the simulation but i don’t really have any experience with vcarving, mostly just been running contours and pockets so far.
