I use my HDM occasionally to make some precision parts and I am just disappointed in the build quality. Today I went to build something that’s time critical and I get this homing switch error. I assume either the switch is dead or the control board has an issue. The spindle moves away just fine, the switch just always says it’s stuck on. And it looks like a hall effect switch on the HDM so nothing mechanical to get gunked up. Debug seems to show the switch thinks its stuck on.
Now I have to take the reputation and financial hit with my customer because I can’t deliver, because I chose a machine with poor quality. Just incredibly frustrated when I needed this expensive tool to work and it didn’t. Again.
