We just bought the Shapeoko ,put it together and were excited to try it out. However, we cant get past the homing code . We have tried every thing that was recommended in the manual and resorted to Chat GPT which didnt really help. Anyone else have this code issue? We sent an email to support with a video…sure hope we can get it figured out.

Did you check the X,Y and Z homing switches to operate properly (actuate/de-actuate red leds and HMI panel response change?)
I had a faulty Y left (from front of machine) switch. Swapped out out with the shipped spare and all was good. C3D shipped a replacement asap.

Sounds like it ran right into the back of the machine.
Pull the gantry to the middle of the machine, then use a metal wrench (or any metal object) to check each homing switch. I bet you have a bad switch.
