Holy Inlay Batman! Someone please help!

I am sure that I am just missing it somewhere,

I’ve put both sides of the cut (hole/plug) in one place, I have been just disabling one group, saving toolpath, then opening with Motion and running… Cannot get this thing to fit correctly. Any advice?

The cut turned out ok, these are just practice runs. No chip outs or anything like that, they just don’t fit together well… There are a couple lines that are on the image that basically erase on the cut out. Figured I would just erase them from the image before final cut.

while your plug is over half-again deeper:

Try again with a deeper pocket (which will preserve the lines)?

I’d recommend testing out settings for files in smaller test pieces.
